AvegoTM is a provider of location-intelligent software products and professional services for improving transportation efficiency. Avego's products use GPS, web and mobile technologies to enable and support sustainable transportation projects.

Led by a team with an extensive history in geographic information systems and GPS technologies, Avego has offices in Ireland (Kinsale and Dublin), the United States (Washington, DC, and Silicon Valley, CA) and China (Dalian).

Avego's transport expertise spans customers as diverse as Transport for London, the Ministries of Transport for the UK and the Netherlands, the European Space Agency, cities and public transport operators from Dublin to Madrid, and thousands of individual consumers and private transport operators.

Avego was originally founded as a division of Mapflow, but became a separate company in April 2009.
